The TinyLoader does not recognize the board either. ![]() ![]() When I go to Tools > Port on the Arduino IDE, Port is grayed out. But my PC can't recognize it for some reason. And the little tiny red-red light right next to the USB port on the Teensy comes on. When I push the tiny button on the Teensy, the blinking orangish-red light stops blinking. I have tried 3 different USB cables and got the same outcome of the Teensy receiving power, but not being recognized. When I plug in the USB cable, the light on the Teensy 4.1 blinks. I have also tried connecting the Teensy to different USB ports. It recognizes my Arduino thru the same USB port, but not my Teensy. From there I was able to update using the regular procedure.Įdit: I see I'm not the first to find this.My PC does not recognize my newly purchased Teensy 4.1. Realizing my error from earlier, I used the correct button sequence on the radio to enter bootloader mode and a new HID device showed up in Windows 11(ARM). This is where I was able to read/write codeplugs, but not update the firmware(not the case). The com port installation tool did fail when installing the CPS originally, but the process somehow left me with a generic COM port still when the radio is plugged into the laptop. I'm using a Macbook Air M1 with Windows 11 ARM on parallels. The CPS does in fact work for both reading/writing codeplugs and updating the firmware. I did however forget that I needed to use the correct button sequence until I was already on my desktop. I updated the GD77 firmware with my windows 10 machine this evening.
